On a bright Saturday morning, the Rivercrest Global Foundation team, alongside a group of our faithful volunteers, paid a heartfelt visit to Sacred Heart Orphanage Home, spending time with the children, sharing a meal together, and distributing food parcels, school materials, and personal care items to every child in the home.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with songs, laughter, and an energy that immediately reminded us why we do what we do.
What We Brought
Our team arrived with:
- Bags of rice, beans, and cooking oil for the orphanage kitchen
- Individual food packs for each child
- Exercise books, pencils, and school bags
- Toiletries and personal care items
- Snacks, drinks, and small gifts for the children
The items were received by the home's administrator and matron, who expressed deep gratitude for the visit and for the practical support provided.
More Than a Donation
What made this visit truly special was not just what we brought — it was the time we spent. Our volunteers sat with the children, played games, listened to their stories, and prayed with them. Several of the children performed songs and recitations for our team, filling the compound with an infectious joy that stayed with everyone long after we left.
One of our volunteers, who had never participated in an outreach visit before, said afterwards: "I came thinking I was going to give something. I left feeling like I had received far more than I gave."
That is the spirit of Rivercrest.

The children of Sacred Heart Orphanage Home are bright, talented, and full of potential. They simply need consistent support — in the form of food, education, mentorship, and the knowledge that they are not forgotten.
